Privacy Policy for ResumeIt App

Thank you for selecting ResumeIt, a resume-building application exclusively owned and operated by Pixster Studio LLP. This Privacy Policy sets forth the comprehensive framework under which we collect, process, utilize, retain, and safeguard your personal data throughout your interaction with our services. We urge you to read this policy in its entirety, as it outlines the scope and manner in which your data is handled, and defines your rights in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.

Where This Policy Applies

This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals accessing or using the ResumeIt application across all platforms and interfaces, which include, but are not limited to, our mobile application, affiliated website(s), and any ancillary services or tools provided directly by Pixster Studio LLP (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “services” or “apps”). By engaging with any component of our services, you consent to the practices described herein.

Information We Collect

We are committed to the principle of data minimization and collect only those categories of information that are strictly necessary to maintain, support, and improve the operational functionality of our services. Specifically, the types of information collected are as follows:

  • Personal Details: Upon account creation, we may collect identifiers such as your full name and valid email address, which are essential for account authentication and communication purposes.

  • Third-Party Logins: If you elect to access our services using a third-party authentication provider such as Google, we obtain limited account information from your linked profile, restricted to your display name and registered email address.

  • Resume Data: Any data you voluntarily input into the application interface for the purpose of building, editing, or exporting your resume—including job titles, summaries, education history, and other relevant content—is processed exclusively for the functionality of the app and is not stored in persistent external systems nor shared with unauthorized parties.

AI Features & Data Privacy

ResumeIt integrates optional, AI-assisted functionalities designed to optimize user productivity by offering resume generation, content suggestions, structural formatting, and rapid creation tools. These AI-powered features are governed by strict confidentiality and data integrity principles. All AI interactions are performed via secure, encrypted API calls that do not retain, replicate, or cache user input or output data. Your information is neither stored in AI training datasets nor used for profiling, behavioral analysis, or targeted advertisements. Outputs generated by AI modules are ephemeral and immediately discarded following completion of processing. Users retain full discretion over the use of AI-generated content and are encouraged to review and modify the content as necessary.

Notice: This application includes content generated by artificial intelligence. It is the user’s responsibility to verify the factual accuracy and contextual relevance of such content prior to incorporating it into official or professional documents. Should you identify inaccuracies, inappropriate content, or anomalies, you are encouraged to submit feedback via the designated in-app “Report” mechanism.

How We Use Your Information

The personal and usage-related data that we collect may be used for the following clearly defined purposes:

  • To facilitate the establishment, verification, and maintenance of user accounts;

  • To provide access to core functionalities, including resume creation, content customization, and file exportation;

  • To diagnose technical issues, improve feature responsiveness, and deliver software updates;

  • To communicate essential operational notifications, policy changes, or optional promotional material, where such communication is consistent with your preferences or explicit consent;

  • To perform anonymized, aggregate analytics strictly for the purpose of assessing system performance and enhancing user experience.

Local Storage

While ResumeIt does not utilize traditional HTTP cookies, we rely on device-based local storage mechanisms to retain application-specific data such as draft resumes, theme preferences, and interaction history. These files are retained exclusively on your device and are instrumental in ensuring consistent performance and usability. This data is not transmitted to external servers, is not analyzed for advertising purposes, and can be manually deleted by the user through device settings.

Do We Share Your Data?

Your personal information is treated as confidential and will not, under any circumstance, be sold, leased, exchanged, or made available to third parties for promotional or advertising purposes. Sharing of data may occur only under the following narrowly defined and legally permissible scenarios:

  • Service Providers: Your data may be disclosed to third-party service providers (e.g., Firebase, Qonversion) strictly for infrastructure support or app functionality under binding confidentiality and data protection agreements;

  • Legal Compliance: We may be legally obligated to disclose personal information if required to comply with applicable laws, regulatory inquiries, court orders, or government mandates;

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a proposed merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets involving Pixster Studio LLP, user data may be included as a business asset, provided that adequate notification is issued and privacy safeguards are maintained.

Account Deletion & Data Retention

You retain the right to delete your ResumeIt account at your discretion through the in-app account management interface. Upon initiation of a deletion request, we undertake to irreversibly erase all associated personally identifiable information from our active systems, except in cases where retention is legally mandated for compliance, auditing, or enforcement purposes. We may, however, retain and utilize aggregated, de-identified data for analytical purposes without linking such data to any specific individual.

Children’s Privacy

ResumeIt is designed for users aged 16 years and above. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16. If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal data through our services, we will promptly delete such data from our records. If you have reason to believe that a minor has used our services without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately to initiate removal procedures.
