1. Agreement

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Pixster Studio, the developer and operator of PureCheck, a product ingredient and barcode scanning application (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you: (a) agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA; (b) represent and warrant that you own or control the device on which the App is installed; and (c) represent and warrant that you have the right and capacity to enter into this EULA.
These terms also apply to any App updates, supplements, and services not provided under a separate agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. Use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this EULA by reference.
We may amend these terms from time to time. If changes are material and affect your rights, we will notify you via an in-app message when you open the App. Continued use after any amendments constitutes your acceptance.
Apple App Store users: This EULA is between you and Pixster Studio only — not Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple is not responsible for any product liability claims, legal compliance claims, or third-party intellectual property claims relating to the App. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.

To deliver its features, PureCheck requires the following device permissions. User-Granted permissions require your explicit approval and can be revoked at any time via device Settings. Auto-Granted permissions are approved by the system automatically and require no user action.
CAMERA — User-Granted (Runtime Permission)
Used by: Barcode Scanner, Add Product, AI Product Scan, Profile Photo
Accesses your camera to scan product barcodes, capture product images for AI analysis, and set profile photos. Camera is only accessed when you initiate one of these actions — never in the background. An in-app explanation is shown before the system permission prompt appears. You may revoke at any time via device Settings.
RECORD_AUDIO — User-Granted (Runtime Permission)
Used by: Ask AI Voice Input
Accesses your microphone solely to convert speech to text when you tap the microphone in Ask AI. Audio is not recorded continuously, not stored, and not transmitted beyond the immediate conversion. An in-app explanation is shown before the system permission prompt appears. You may revoke at any time via device Settings.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — User-Granted (Android 13+)
Used by: App Notifications, Firebase Push Notifications
Sends app updates and Firebase push notifications. On Android 13+, explicit approval is required. You may enable or disable at any time via device Settings.
INTERNET — Auto-Granted (No User Prompt)
Used by: Core App Functions
Required for product data retrieval, user data sync, Ask AI, image loading, authentication, and subscription processing. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Auto-Granted (No User Prompt)
Used by: Offline Handling, Connectivity Monitoring
Checks network availability to display appropriate messages and manage network operations. No personal data is collected.
VIBRATE — Auto-Granted (No User Prompt)
Used by: Scanner Haptics, UI Feedback
Provides short tactile feedback on product scans and supported UI interactions. No data is collected.

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:
PureCheck is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, allergy, or health issue.
Product ingredient data in the App may not be complete, current, or accurate. Formulations change and our database may not reflect the latest product versions.
AI-generated product analysis results are produced by automated models and may vary in accuracy. They are not reviewed or validated by qualified professionals.
If you have a diagnosed health condition, food allergy, intolerance, or dietary restriction, you must consult a qualified healthcare or nutrition professional before relying on any information from the App.
Pixster Studio expressly disclaims all liability for any actions taken or not taken based on information or AI-generated content provided by the App.

Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice in or associated with the App.
Use automated tools such as bots or scrapers to interfere with the App's proper functioning.
Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purpose.

Certain features of the App may be available on a subscription basis or as a one-time purchase. Purchases are processed through the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (Apple) or before the end of the billing period (Google).
Free trials: If a free trial is offered, you may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial concludes, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription.

iOS (App Store): Go to Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select PureCheck → Cancel subscription.
All purchases are subject to the refund policies of the relevant app store. We do not process refunds directly.
