HEALTH AND ACTIVITY DATA

The App may request access to health and activity-related data from your device, including but not limited to step count, physical activity recognition, heart rate or other sensor data sourced from Apple Health (HealthKit), Google Fit, or compatible wearable devices (such as smartwatches). This data is collected solely for the following purposes:

To support fasting tracking and provide personalized fasting insights;
To deliver activity-aware reminders and hydration alerts;
To display your health progress within the App.

Health and activity data collected through Apple HealthKit or Google Fit integrations is used exclusively within the App to provide the features described above. This data is NOT used for advertising purposes, NOT shared with third-party advertisers, and is NOT sold or disclosed to any third parties for commercial gain. Health data is never combined with advertising identifiers or used to build advertising profiles.

You may grant or revoke access to health and activity data at any time through your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Health; Android: Settings > Apps > Permissions). Revoking access may limit the functionality of certain App features but will not affect your ability to use the App generally. NOTIFICATIONS AND ALERTS

The App may request permission to send push notifications and local alerts to your device. These notifications are used exclusively to enhance your experience with the App's fasting and health-tracking features, and may include the following types of alerts:

Hydration alerts: Periodic reminders to maintain adequate water intake during fasting periods;
Progress and streak updates: Notifications celebrating milestones, streaks, or daily goals achieved within the App.

Notification permission is required for the above features to function correctly. However, granting notification access is optional, and you may disable notifications at any time through your device settings (iOS: Settings > Notifications; Android: Settings > Apps > Notifications) without affecting your access to the rest of the App. The App uses device-level scheduling mechanisms (including exact alarms and wake-lock where supported by your device and operating system) solely to ensure timely delivery of the above notification types. No notification is sent for advertising or promotional purposes without your separate and explicit consent.

ADVERTISING IDENTIFIER AND TRACKING

The App may access the Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS; AD_ID on Android) provided by your device's operating system for the following limited purposes:

Attribution: To measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and understand which channels led you to download the App;
Ad performance measurement: To analyze aggregate advertising campaign performance;
Personalized advertising: To serve relevant advertisements within the App, only where you have provided explicit consent in accordance with applicable laws and platform requirements, including Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework on iOS.

The Advertising ID is not linked to your personally identifiable information (such as your name or email address) without your explicit consent, and is not combined with health data or fasting-related data collected through the App. You may opt out of interest-based advertising and reset your Advertising ID at any time through your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads). This permission is not requested on devices running Android 10 or later, where storage access is handled automatically by the operating system without requiring this permission. The App does not access, read, copy, or transmit any files from your device beyond those explicitly generated by your in-App actions. No unnecessary file access is performed.

INTERNET AND NETWORK ACCESS

The App requires access to the internet and to your device's network state for the following operational purposes:

Data synchronization: To sync your fasting records, goals, and progress across devices where applicable;
Analytics: To collect aggregated, anonymized usage data that helps us improve the App's features and performance;
Subscription management: To validate and manage your in-app subscription status and unlock premium features accordingly;
Buddy Feature connectivity: To facilitate real-time connections with your friends through the Buddy Feature.
