1. Agreement

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA" or "Terms") governs your use of the Authenticator application for Android and related services (the "App") provided by Pixster Studio LLP ("Pixster Studio", "we", "us" or "our"). By installing or otherwise using the App, you: (a) agree to be bound by these Terms; (b) represent and warrant that you own or control the mobile device on which the App will be installed; and (c) represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into these Terms and to abide by all of their terms and conditions. These Terms also apply to any App updates, supplements, and services that are not provided under a separate agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you by reasonable means, which you agree may include an in-app message shown when you open the App. Your continued use of the App after we post amendments signifies your acceptance. Use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The App is distributed through Google Play, and your use is additionally subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.
Notice to consumers: Depending on the laws of your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights that cannot be waived through these Terms and that are in addition to them, and certain provisions may be unenforceable as to you. To the extent any term is unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.

The App is a security utility that lets you: (1) generate two-factor authentication (2FA / TOTP) codes for multiple online services; (2) store and manage login credentials in a password manager ("vault"); (3) optionally back up and synchronize your authenticator and vault data through your Google Account; and (4) optionally check whether a password appears in known public data breaches using a third-party service. We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.
Your responsibility for your accounts, credentials, and backups
Because the App secures access to your other accounts, please read this section carefully:
You are the sole guardian of your data. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your device, your App lock (PIN/biometric), your master credentials (if any), and your Google Account used for sync.
Risk of lockout / data loss. Your 2FA secrets and vault entries are stored on your device and, where you enable it, in your cloud backup. If you lose, reset, or replace your device, uninstall the App, or lose access to your Google Account without a valid backup, you may permanently lose access to your 2FA codes and saved passwords, and as a result may be locked out of the online accounts those credentials protect. Pixster Studio cannot recover your 2FA secrets or vault data and is not responsible for any resulting loss of access. We strongly recommend you keep recovery/backup codes provided by your other service providers in a safe place.
Keep backups. You are responsible for enabling and maintaining backups (such as cloud sync) and for testing that you can restore them.
You shall notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security known to you. We are not responsible for any loss arising from misuse of your password, device, or Google Account by you or a third party.

Cloud backup and synchronization is an optional convenience feature that uses your Google Account. By enabling it, you authorize the App to store and retrieve your authenticator and vault data via Google's services, and you agree that your use of Google services is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for securing your Google Account. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of sync and are not liable for any failure, delay, or loss of synced data caused by your device, your network, or Google's services.

As described in our Privacy Policy, your password is never sent to HIBP or to us; the check uses a privacy-preserving (k-Anonymity) method. This feature is provided "as is" and for informational purposes only. A result indicating that a password was not found does not guarantee that the password is secure or has not been compromised, and we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or availability of HIBP data. You are responsible for choosing strong, unique passwords.

You may not create derivative works of the App. All modifications or enhancements to the App remain the sole property of Pixster Studio.

(iii) Free trials. If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the end of the trial period (Google). Manage trials in your Google Play subscription settings.

By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that the App and any information you store or share through it may be exposed to unauthorized access, interception, corruption, damage, or misuse, and cannot be regarded as completely secure. You accept responsibility for such risks and for securing your mobile device, including by using strong device and App locks and, for Android users, enabling device encryption. You agree that Pixster Studio shall not be liable for any unauthorized access to your mobile device or the data stored on it.

The App, including all design, text, images, code, content, and documentation provided by Pixster Studio, is the property of Pixster Studio or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. The Pixster Studio names, logos, and related properties are the exclusive property of Pixster Studio or its affiliates. You may not delete, alter, or remove any proprietary notices. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You retain ownership of the data and content you store in the App; we do not claim ownership of your vault or 2FA data.
The App, including all design, text, images, code, content, and documentation provided by Pixster Studio, is the property of Pixster Studio or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. Without limitation, we make no warranty that the App will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that any results obtained will be accurate or reliable, that any compromised-password check or 2FA functionality will be free from error, or that defects will be corrected. We assume no liability for any loss of data, loss of access to your other accounts, or property damage resulting from your use of the App, any unauthorized access to your device or data, any interruption of service, or any bugs, viruses, or harmful components transmitted by a third party. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the App remains solely with you. Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties; in such jurisdictions the foregoing may not apply to you insofar as it relates to implied warranties.

These limitations apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Pixster Studio does not represent that the App is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction, and we may limit its availability at our discretion. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply to the extent they grant you greater protection. No failure or delay by Pixster Studio in exercising any right operates as a waiver of that right. If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. You agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the App must commence within the period permitted by applicable law; otherwise it is permanently barred.
Pixster Studio does not represent that the App is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction, and we may limit its availability at our discretion. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply to the extent they grant you greater protection. No failure or delay by Pixster Studio in exercising any right operates as a waiver of that right.
